The cutlets can be either deep-fried, shallow fried or even baked if you are a calorie conscious person. Here we are shallow frying the Paneer cutlets. The coating of the breadcrumbs give it a crispy, crunchy taste which is simply hard to resist.

Ingredients

  • Paneer- 250 gms (crumbled)
  • Bread slices- 2
  • Ginger-garlic paste- 1tsp
  • Onion- 1 (chopped)
  • Green chillies- 2 (chopped)
  • Turmeric powder- ½ tsp
  • Chaat masala- 1tsp
  • Pepper powder- ½ tsp
  • Mint leaves- 2tbsp (chopped)
  • Breadcrumbs- 1 cup (for coating)
  • All purpose flour- 2tbsp
  • Salt- as per taste
  • Oil- 3tbsp
  • Water- 1 cup
  • Dip the bread slices in water for about a minute and then squeeze out the excess water from them.
  • Mix together healthy paneer, wet bread slices, ginger-garlic paste, onion, green chillies, turmeric powder, chaat masala, pepper powder, salt, mint leaves together in a bowl.
  • Divide the mixture into cutlet sized balls. Flatten the mixture with your palms in the shape of a cutlet.
  • Mix all purpose flour with about four tablespoon of water.
